Hello There!

I have never had a blog before, so let’s just go ahead and get that out of the way. But my name is Emily, I started this blog because of my passion for books and reading. I have always had a love for reading and books. I grew up with collection of books and any chance I had to get more books, I always did.

I am still that way. It’s actually starting to become a bad habit. My ‘To Be Read’ pile is turning more into a mountain at this point.

There was a time where I wasn’t reading as much I would have liked to. Sad for me to admit just how long it took me to finish a short Stephen King novella. But I did finish it eventually and it did not end up in the DNF pile. I try to not add to the DNF pile, I like to finish my reads, even if it ends up taking me forever and a day.

Then within that last few years I started picking up reading again. And the books that got me back into reading where not the ACOTAR series. It was “A Touch of Darkness” by Scarlett St.Clair. That was in the beginning of 2022, and she made me wait until March of 2024 to be able to finish that series. I definitely pre-ordered that book and screamed with excitement when it was on my porch (pretty sure my neighbors thought I was crazy).

Well this isn’t going to be a super long post, just something to give you all a little information about me and get to know me a little bit better. I would love to receive more book recommendations and hear your theories and thoughts about the books and series you read. Thank you so much for reading this post, and I cant wait to drive you all crazy with the pure chaos that is the library in my mind!
